Otley Sailing Club
This winter join us for our monthly Youth Sailing Sessions, running alongside the Adult Improvers group.
Time: Meet 9:30 am changed and ready to go afloat.
Briefing: 9:30 am to confirm the session plan & then rig boats.
Friendly Race: At 11:00 am, both youth and adult groups combine for a friendly race.
Finish: Simple lunch available afterwards (small charge).
Who can join: Open to sailors with RYA Stage 2 (or equivalent skills — able to sail out, round a few marks, and back ashore).
Boats: Use your own or hire a club boat.
Parents: Please stay on site or complete a loco parentis form in the clubhouse.

We need at least one powerboat driver and crew each session. If you have a PB2 but limited experience helming this is a great chance to get some time on the water.
There's also a job for someone to get lunch ready for 11:45 please.
Clothing: It's cold.... wetsuits or dry suits compulsory.
Registration: Please register at least 3 days in advance so we know who’s coming, & then sign in on arrival. Cancelling? please just cancel your registration on here if you change your mind, If we have to cancel we'll use the Junior Whats App group to let you know.
Cost: no charge in your own boat or £5 to hire a club one
